*The identity verification is divided into LV1 Basic Verification and LV2 Advanced Verification, which determines the transaction limit of your account in XTrust. You need to complete LV1 Basic Verification first in order to submit LV2 Advanced Verification.

What is KYC? Why Do I Need to Complete KYC?

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process of identifying and verifying the client's identity. The standards are designed to avoid fraud, corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing.

XTrust recommends users to complete KYC to increase their account security. Users with KYC also have higher daily withdrawal limit, as well as access to Fiat Trading and P2P Merchant Application.

How to complete KYC on a web browser?

• Step 1: Visit https://www.x.group/ and login to your account. From User Center, click 'Identity Verification'
  
  
  
  
• Step 2: Select your country/region from the drop-down list, and click 'Verify Now'. You will be redirected to different verification page based on your country/region
  
  
  
  
• Step 3: LV1 Basic Verification - Verification Page Type 1
  
  

  1. Select your Identity Certificate Type, input your Real Name and Identity Certificate Number.
     
     
     
     

  2. Upload the following: i. photo of the front of your ID, ii. photo of the back of your ID and iii. photo of you holding ID with a paper writing with "XTrust + date + signature" (refer to the example below). Input your Security Password and click 'Submit'
     
     
     
     

• Step 3: LV1 Basic Verification - Verification Page Type 2
  
  
  1. Confirm your Nationality, input your Full Name and Date of Birth, then select Identity Document Type. Click 'Continue'
     
     
     
     
  2. Double-check your personal information, and select your authentication method
     
     
     
     

     • If your current device has a camera (eg. webcam),	• If your current device does not have a camera,
     choose 'Camera'	choose 'App Authentication'
     Click 'Start', and 'Take photo using webcam'. Follow the instruction to take photos of the front and back of your ID, and to complete face verification.	Login to your account on XTrust App. From the top right corner of the main page on App, click 'More' and 'Scan'. Scan the QR code on the web page and click 'Start'.

     
     

     Note: Please follow the prompts when conducting face verification. Please do not wear hats, glasses or use filters. Make sure that the shooting environment is well-lit.

     Note: Please make sure your XTrust App Version is v3.8 and above (for Android), and v11.0 and above (for iOS).
     
     

• Step 4: Advanced Verification (Optional)
  
  Record a video with your phone or camera device. In the video, read out the provided numbers on the page. Upload the video after completion, enter Security Password and click 'Submit'. Video supports format of MP4, OGG, WEBM, 3GP as well as MOV and must be limited to 50MB
  
  
  
  Note: You need to complete LV1 Basic Verification first in order to submit LV2 Advanced Verification.
  

After completing the above process, please be patient. XTrust will review your information as soon as possible. Once you have passed the verification, we will send you an email notification

Note: During this period, please do not refresh your browser. You may apply for identity verification up to 5 times per day. If your application is rejected 5 times within 24 hours, please try again in 24 hours.

How to complete KYC on XTrust App?

• Step 1:  Login to your XTrust App, and click the icon on the upper left corner of the homepage. Select 'Identity Verification'
  
  
  
  
• Step 2: Select your country/region from the list, and click 'Go Verify'. You will be redirected to different verification page based on your country/region
  
  
• Step 3: LV1 Basic Verification - Verification Page Type 1
  
  
  1. Input your Nationality, Type of ID, Full Name and ID Number, click 'Next'
     
     
     
     
  2. Upload the following: i. photo of the front of your ID, ii. photo of the back of your ID and iii. photo of you holding ID with a paper writing with "XTrust + date + signature" (refer to the example below). Input your Security Password and click 'Submit for review'

  2. Click 'Next' and then 'Start'. Select your Document Type and take photo of your document, then complete the face verification
