Overview of Single Event Prediction Contracts

Event prediction contract products are forward contracts quoted and settled in USDT, using USDT as a margin for opening positions. Trading rules adhere to XTrust's futures product trading guidelines, with profits and losses calculated in USDT.

1. Single Event Prediction Contracts

Single event prediction contracts are based on the odds of a single event's future outcome. For example, a prediction contract for team XXX winning the English Premier League is based on whether the team will ultimately win the league in the current season. If the team wins the league, the contract will be settled at 1 USDT; if the team does not win, the contract will be settled at 0 USDT.

2. Naming Rules for Trading Pairs of Single Event Prediction Contracts

A single event contract is a contract product that is based on the future results of a single event. Trading pairs are named using the format "Result + Event + Time" and USDT-M single event contracts are supported. These Single event contracts have a delivery date and are subject to the XTrust futures trading rules. 

For example, in the case of predicting the winner of the English Premier League championship in 2023, the trading pairs in the "EPL Champion 2023" series are named using the convention of "EPL Champion" (result) + team (event) + 2023 (time). The contracts are priced and settled in USDT, and the contract delivery result is based on the team that wins the English Premier League championship.

Taking “EPLChampionMNU2023” as an example, the contract is a prediction on whether Manchester United will win the EPL championship on May 28, 2023. If Manchester United wins the championship on that date, the contract will be delivered at a price of 1 USDT. On the other hand, if Manchester United does not win the championship, the contract will be delivered at a price of 0 USDT. 

Similarly, if another team wins the EPL championship in 2023, the anchored contract will be delivered at a price of 1 USDT. On the other hand, if that team does not win the championship, the contract will be delivered at a price of 0 USDT.

4. Trading Rules for the Champion Prediction of Single Event Contracts

For example, in the case of the "EPLChampionMNU2023" contract, it is based on Manchester United winning the EPL championship. If you believe there is an 80% chance that Manchester United will win the championship, you can take a long position (buy) at a price of 0.2 USDT, without considering any fees or other costs. When Manchester United wins the championship and the contract is delivered at a price of 1 USDT, you will receive the corresponding profit.

The "EPL Champion 2023" Prediction Contract does not allow users to open short positions and is only available for trading in isolated margin mode.

5. Detailed Delivery Instructions for Single Event Prediction Contracts：

Taking “EPLChampionMNU2023” as an example：

• The “EPLChampionMNU2023” contract is a prediction on whether Manchester United will win the EPL championship on May 28, 2023. If Manchester United wins the championship on that date, the contract will be delivered at a price of 1 USDT. On the other hand, if Manchester United does not win the championship, the contract will be delivered at a price of 0 USDT. 
• If the EPL is canceled due to any force majeure event, all the contracts based on  the "EPL Champion 2023" Prediction Markets will be delivered at a price of 0 USDT.
• The contracts will be delivered within 0-2 hours once the championship result is determined. However, please note that XTrust reserves the right to delay delivery due to force majeure events.
